Getting Crowns at Dlight Dental

At Dlight Dental, our doctors take their time to ensure our crowns look great and fit and function perfectly. They use our state-of-the-art intraoral scanner to record a 3D image of your teeth and gums. The team uses this precise data to design a crown that fits and functions just like your tooth did previously.

Crowns require removal of some of the tooth’s natural structure for placement; our doctors remove the smallest amount of natural tooth structure possible in order to provide long-lasting results.

To ensure everything is to your liking, you’ll get to “try out” your new crown with a temporary version you will be able to wear home. You can then let us know any changes you would like, and we can make those before creating your final crown.

Your final crown will be made using top-of-the-line materials known for their durability and lifelike luster. We partner with several different dental labs, and your crown will be created at a dental lab that specializes in the type of crown you need. For example, for a crown that will be highly visible in the front of your mouth, we will use a dental lab we trust to do absolutely stunning aesthetic work so your tooth will look fantastic in your smile.
